Young & Well ("we," "us," "our") is a youth and college identity movement. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, mobile portal, and related services (the "Platform"), and how we use it.
1. Information We Collect
- Account info: name, email, password (hashed), phone number, school, city, class year, and interests you choose.
- Community activity: Bible study progress, event RSVPs, group memberships, prayer/encouragement posts, and comments you make.
- Giving & purchases: donation amounts, product purchases, and billing records. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) — we never see or store your full card number.
- Device info: browser type, IP address, push notification tokens (only if you opt in), and basic analytics about how you use the Platform.
2. How We Use It
- To run your account and personalize your dashboard.
- To send you the daily devotional, event reminders, and updates you opted into.
- To process donations and merchandise orders.
- To keep the community safe (moderation, spam prevention).
- To improve the Platform and understand what content resonates.
3. Who We Share It With
We do not sell your data. We share limited data only with the service providers we need to operate:
- Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, authentication.
- Stripe — payment processing for giving and merch.
- Lovable AI — the AI Gateway that powers our study and devotional drafts (drafts only — your personal profile is not sent).
- Push notification providers — only your device's push token, only if you opt in.
We may also disclose information when legally required or to protect the safety of our community.
4. Your Rights
- Access & correction: edit your profile any time in the portal.
- Deletion: email us at hello@youngandwell.app to delete your account and personal data.
- Unsubscribe: turn off push notifications and SMS in your notification settings at any time.
5. Children
The Platform is built for young adults and college students. It is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we'll remove the account.
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. No system is 100% secure — protect your password and let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
7. Changes
We'll update this page when things change and note the effective date above. Material changes will be announced in the portal.
