Young & Well is a community for young adults figuring out who they are in Christ. This is a place to be real, get poured into, and pour into others. These rules keep it that way.
Bring the real you
- Use your real name and be honest about who you are.
- Doubt is welcome. Questions are welcome. Show up as you are.
- Confidentiality matters — what's shared in groups stays in groups.
Respect the room
- No hate speech, slurs, or attacks on race, gender, or background.
- Disagree with ideas, not with people. Keep it seasoned with grace.
- No harassment, doxxing, or DMing people who didn't invite it.
Keep it rooted
- We teach from the canonized 66-book Protestant Bible. Don't post content pushing extra-biblical "scripture," prosperity gospel, horoscope/astrology, or manifesting-as-faith.
- Do not recruit or promote for high-control religious groups or cults active on our campuses (UCLA, SMC, CSUN, and others). If you're being pressured by one, reach out — we'll help.
Keep it clean
- No sexually explicit content, nudity, or graphic violence.
- No promoting drugs, self-harm, or dangerous behavior.
- No spam, scams, MLMs, or unsolicited sales.
When somebody needs help
If you or someone you know is in crisis, please reach out beyond the app: call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line). If someone's life is in danger, call 911. Then tell us so we can wrap around you.
Reporting & consequences
Report anything that breaks these rules to hello@youngandwell.app. Depending on what happened, we may remove the post, warn the person, or remove the account. We take repeated or serious violations seriously.
Bottom line
You were born with your worth. So was the person next to you. Treat every soul in this house like they were made in God's image — because they were.
